Lucas Norer
Lucas Norer lives and works in Vienna and Linz. Acoustic experiments in connection with items of everyday life, sculptural assemblages and the physical element of sound are the main aspects of Lucas Norer’s musical and visual compositions. His works deal with moments where noise becomes music and the difference between hearing and active listening is explored.
Since 2004 collaboration with Clemens Mairhofer and Sebastian Six as art collective FAXEN. Furthermore curatorial projects in the fields of fine art, art in public space, sound art and electronic music. Between 2009 - 20012 in charge of the exhibition programme and annual artist-in-residency programme at artist-run-gallery bb15 in Linz. In 2011 guest curator at artist-in-residency programme Atelierhaus Salzamt in Linz. 2013/2014 part-time curator at STEIM - centre for electronic music Amsterdam.
Axel Stockburger
Axel Stockburger is an artist and theorist who lives and works in London and Vienna. He studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna with Peter Weibel and holds a PhD from the University of the Arts, London. His films and installations are shown internationally.
Among other projects he has initiated the independent art television channel TIV in Vienna in 1998 and collaborated on international projects with the London based media art group D-Fuse (2000-2004). At present he works as scientific staff member at the Department for Visual Arts and Digital Media / Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
